Looking terrific in tuxedos
Tuxedo
At any wedding, most of the guests focus on the bride and her bridesmaids as they make their entry. But the attire of the men in the wedding party also helps to set the tone for the festivities.

Traditional dress for the groom and his attendants has been a tuxedo with all men in the wedding party wearing the same style.

A different colored vest and tie style can help set the groom apart, as well as distinguish different members of the wedding party, such as the fathers from the groomsmen. The only exception occurs at a formal evening wedding where all members of the wedding party dress alike in white tie and tails.

If you are planning an informal daytime wedding, dark suits are always appropriate. Coordinating shoes and a four-in-hand (standard long necktie) finish off the look.

Today's popular destination weddings to tropical settings call for a white dinner jacket with black tuxedo pants (or shorts), non-pleated tuxedo shirt and patterned cummerbund and tie as alternatives to a dark suit or tuxedo.

For a semiformal daytime wedding, tradition calls for a gray waistcoat with striped trousers, pearl gray vest and ascot tie. However, a black or gray regular-length tuxedo coat with vest or cummerbund is suitable as well.

At a formal daytime wedding 'Black Tie' -- meaning any regular length tuxedo with formal accessories -- is always appropriate. Another popular ensemble includes a morning suit (or charcoal gray cutaway) complete with black or gray-striped trousers, a gray waistcoat or vest, and ascot tie. Gray gloves and black patent-leather dress shoes complete this tasteful look.

For an informal evening wedding, a dark business suit or tuxedo is the traditional preference depending on the formality of the bride's attire.

For a semiformal evening wedding, a tuxedo is the right choice in winter. During the summer season a tuxedo or a white dinner jacket with formal black trousers both are ideal. A black vest or cummerbund and matching bow tie or cravat add a fashionable note.

A formal evening wedding calls for the time-honored black tailcoat with white pique shirt, vest and tie for all members of the wedding party. White gloves and black patent-leather dress shoes complete the traditional look for elegant ensemble.
